Action, Drama 4 stars
Good movie. Denzel Washington stars a rogue spy suspected of treason who is under the protection of an inexperienced rookie, played by Ryan Reynolds. Great cast includes Brendan Gleeson, Vera Farmiga and Sam Shepherd. Very exciting and feels like a Steven Soderbergh film (Traffic, Haywire) but is instead directed by the somewhat unknown Daniel Espinosa, who shows a lot of promise. And surprisingly, Ryan Reynolds can actually act! Who knew? I thought it was really good.

I go to the theater 2 or 3 times a week, depending on what movies are out. Luckily, my husband allows me to be a spoiled housewife who doesn't have to work anymore, so I can enjoy quiet matinees. Even with the not so great movies, I can usually find something I like about them. If you are the "hard to please" type, this page is probably not for you.
