Sweet sentimental film only for chick flick lovers. Zac Efron plays a US Marine home with PTSD who searches for the woman whose photo he found while he was in Afghanistan because he believes finding her photo gave him luck and saved his life (Taylor Schilling). It’s a good chick flick though it didn’t make me cry (my gauge for determining how good a chick flick is) and the climax felt contrived. I also kept wondering if Schilling even owned a hairbrush! Blythe Danner co-stars (I always love her) as well as Riley Thomas Stewart as the cute little boy. Decent film only for lovers of the genre.

- I love movies. I love the big screen in a darkened theater with a great sound system. I love the popcorn with the fake butter too! I go to the theater 2 or 3 times a week, depending on what movies are out. Luckily, my husband allows me to be a spoiled housewife who doesn't have to work anymore, so I can enjoy quiet matinees. Even with the not so great movies, I can usually find something I like about them. If you are the "hard to please" type, this page is probably not for you.
