A “guy flick” starring Jason Statham as a hit man who reluctantly mentors a volatile wannabe (Ben Foster). Lots of action and explosions and shootouts. Statham was good as usual as a straightforward butt-kicker. The suspense was waiting for the hot-tempered Foster’s fuse to blow. This is a remake of the 1972 film with Charles Bronson. Jim loved it. I think Jim now owes me a chick flick. Donald Sutherland co-stars. From a girl’s point of view, it was a decent action flick.

- I love movies. I love the big screen in a darkened theater with a great sound system. I love the popcorn with the fake butter too! I go to the theater 2 or 3 times a week, depending on what movies are out. Luckily, my husband allows me to be a spoiled housewife who doesn't have to work anymore, so I can enjoy quiet matinees. Even with the not so great movies, I can usually find something I like about them. If you are the "hard to please" type, this page is probably not for you.
